Cheap Disposable Cameras for your Wedding

The idea of using cheap disposable cameras for wedding has become popular recently. Buying cheap cameras that can be personally designed for the happy couple is a great way of adding that bit of novelty to any wedding reception.

These placed around the room on guests tables if suitably chosen can blend in with the style of your wedding reception. For bright light outdoor weddings during the day time, you can virtually give every guest their own disposable camera as the cost will add very little to the overall price of your wedding, even if you have them especially customized with their own design. Indoor wedding will need disposable cameras with a flash and these can be a little more expensive. The cost is still relatively small and for buying in bulk these can be purchased at rock bottom prices.

Many guests may have brought their own camera or photo equipped cell phone and usually the wedding party will never see those photos taken. On the other hand supplying cameras for the guests to take sometimes quite candid and fun pictures and with the offer to have the used cameras developed will much improve the chances of the wedding couple to see what the others were up too.

wedding_disposable_camera The results can sometimes be quite unexpected with the groups small and friendly to let their guard down the photographs taken can show a fun and humorous side to the wedding. They are so easy to use that I can bet that all your guests will be snapping away without the fear of pushing the wrong button that gives many a fear of more expensive modern digital camera.

Do not forget these cameras are there to add a fun side to the wedding and should not be any sort of replacement for a professional photographer. Let the professionals do their job and let the guest add that little bit of surprise to your reception.

Ever wondered what was happening at the table 7 or maybe you might find out another side of Aunty Jane that you never knew about. The cameras can be a cheap addition to your wedding and can easily be incorporated in to fun and games for the guests to place, like random announcing “take a picture of somebody in blue” or “take a pictures of a beautiful woman” which should see the bride surrounded by the guests snapping away. All the guests will soon join in the spirit of the games.

What ever you may have in mind, incorporating this inexpensive addition to your wedding can have results that will last forever.

How to use Waterproof Disposable Cameras

Disposable cameras are so easy to use a child could do it. In fact the camera is ideal for children and little kids to use. If you have used a more expensive digital camera then you`l know about buttons, menus and options that may present themselves along with beeps and flashing lights. Disposable cameras leave all that behind and return virtually to the simplicity of compact film cameras of yesteryears.

Point, click, wind...

It is really that easy, well just about. By having to leave behind the help of zoom, focus, exposure and auto flash of digital, you do have to return to manually setting up your shot.

This is not as hard as it sounds, just take in to account the lighting conditions. Anyplace other than outdoor daylight then you should use a flash in your disposable camera is equipped with one and be aware that the subject of the photograph should be no further then 10 to 12 feet away or the flash will become ineffective.

Due to the lack of focus, you cannot take good close up pictures. Keep your subjects at least 5 feet away and the pictures will turn out fine. During daylight there is no maximum distance as we do not need the help of the flash here.

Underwater or waterproof disposable cameras are just as easy to use, for wet shots like at the pool or splashing around they are just as easy to use as normal disposable cameras. If you are snorkelling at the surface in clear water then if you can see your subject clearly then most likely the camera will be able too as well. Waterproof disposable cameras do not usually come with a flash as they are ineffective underwater.

There is not much more too it, nothing complicated to confuse the kids or even some adults. For the price of these cameras you do not need to be an expert. Some of the fun can be actually had from taking the photographs themselves, the cheapness means that you do not have to wait for a pose until uncle Albert gets in line.

Limitations of Disposable Cameras

The quality of photographs taken with Disposable cameras can be sometimes disappointing. With modern technology in digital camera we are used to the automatic adjustments that the camera makes for us under varying conditions.
When we try to use a disposable camera we sometimes forget that we need to take more account of the surroundings and lighting.

Waterproof-Disposable-CameraIn darkness they do not perform well and taking photographs indoors, where the light level is low, may not produce clear snaps. Some camera come equipped with a flash that helps for when the subject is close to the camera. Keep your subjects close when it its dark, around 10 feet and there should be enough illumination for the film, this really applies to all cameras. The camera flashes you see in the crowd at events do not help but I have to admit they do look good.

The camera designs are minimal and have fixed settings. Shutter speed, film ISO and with a fixed lens do not allow adjustments for the varying conditions. These are optimized for outdoor daylight snaps.

The same considerations apply to using waterproof disposable cameras for underwater snaps. These are ideal for splashing about in the sea or pool and just under the surface or snorkelling the reefs and capturing those tropical fish with their bright colours. The camera casings allow deeper adventures and are capable to reach depth of 15 meters or more without leaking. At these depths the sunlight may not be as strong depending on the quality of the water and results will not be as good.
Knowing they are limited does not mean they will not take good photographs. Remind yourself that you are taking quick snaps and not professional photographs. Enjoy the fun of your adventures or parties without worrying about breaking your more expensive camera.

Get wet, Get muddy, Jump around, Let the kids eat cake with them or whatever you may have in mind. The benefits of disposable cameras and waterproof disposable cameras far outweigh their limitations.

Snap happy and have the memory forever.

About Waterproof Disposable Cameras

The modern disposable camera came to light in 1986 when Fuji-film released the QuickSnap camera in Japan. While traditional cameras were still expensive the disposable kind opened the door for many Japanese to become snap-happy at a much reduced cost. Other Photographic companies soon joined Fuji-film and started to produce their own versions of cameras. Canon, Nikon and Kodak were among the other early adopters of the cardboard camera.

Film cameras are now becoming history as the world moves towards digital photography. Photo options are now included mobile phones, music players and even computers to produce quality pictures. But there is still room for proper cameras exclusively designed for just taking photographs.

While the digital camera rules the market now, the disposable camera has carved itself a niche in modern times. As our activities and pass times become more varied the opportunities to capture a memorial image increase for everybody. This is where we can use our disposable camera for those adventures where we would like quality photographs but not expose our expensive digital camera to any misfortune.

Those cheap cameras are now beginning to host features that would have normally been the domain of more expensive equipment. Integrated Flash is desirability if you need to take photographs at night or indoors. Zoom capabilities for getting in close to the subject. Probably the most advantageous aspect is their waterproof capability.

Waterproofing opens up those opportunities where the everyday person would not want to put their more expensive equipment at risk. From just having a dip at the pool to fully underwater snorkelling or scuba diving, the underwater or waterproof disposable camera performs great for its price.

With the host of features available on those cameras do not forget their main purpose. The will not perform as good as a more expensive digital camera and should not be seen as a replacement. As the name “disposable” suggests they should be used in areas where there is a risk to your equipment. Kids, water, dropping, chewed by dogs, potential of loss, parties all lend themselves to not missing out on those potential memories that can be had with these cameras.

Getting those Disposable Cameras on the Cheap

Adding an extra bit of fun to a party, wedding or even a business event can be had with the introduction of the Disposable Camera or the Waterproof kind if you have an upcoming pool part.

As we know the kids will love them and having all the kids run around taking pictures of each other will occupy some of their time. Weddings could be eventful with guests snapping each other and often surprising results appear that would be missed by the official photographs.

Buying in bulk can often be cheaper than buying these already low cost cameras individually. This is not ideal for long term storage as they contain undeveloped film that might degrade with age. So this option is only worth while if you have an up and coming even on the horizon.

disposable camera The quality of the pictures disposable cameras as we know are not as good as a proper more expensive camera. But remember the idea here is not to achieve quality but to capture those photographs and memories that might never other wise be caught. Bulk purchased cameras are often of a lesser quality and this is reflected in the cost. Do not let this put you off, for many situations the quality is adequate and great photographs can be taken.

The best source of bulk cameras is online and wholesale camera supplies can offer amounts as little as 5 or 10 cameras for around US$3 or US$4 depending on the type of camera. Buying larger amounts can reduce the price dramatically buy 30% or more depending on the exact amount.

Camera styles do vary and depending on your event. Weddings and parties are catered for with cameras styles especially for that occasion. Apart from the style the other options that are available to you are standard or with flash. The flash cameras are much more suited for indoors where that extra light is needed. The other option is waterproof. Think of maybe that spilled drink or a dip in the pool than this may be the better option.

Modern technology even allows us to purchase personalized or custom design disposable cameras. For a wedding the names or the just happily married or for a company event then the Logo or Brand stamped on a camera might add that extra touch.

For events which include water of some sort such as Pool parties or extended family days at the water slides the waterproof disposable is idea. Costing a bit more than ordinary disposable cameras they have that great advantage of keeping out the wet. There is no doubt that everybody snapping while splashing around can add up to a great day out.

Waterproof Disposable Cameras on Holiday

The cost of disposable cameras at holiday resorts or while on a cruise could be double of that which you pay at home. While the cameras themselves are cheap, you can save a bit of money by buying them before you go.

Quite often if you are off the beaten track there might be no place near that has any in stock. This is especially the case if you are of the more adventurous type and seek out those more exotic places that are still relatively untouched by tourism.

snorkeling While you already have a more expensive digital camera it might not be ideally suited for your plans. Fast paced day trips that take in multiple sites and locations are memories not to be missed. Leave behind you larger bulkier camera and take a disposable camera or two just for that trip. Should the worst happen and you lose you camera, all that is lost is those few pictures for that day.

A lot of tourist resorts can contain the friendliest of people and some even bend over backwards to help. Knowing this labelling your disposable camera with your cabin room or resort name can quite often see a camera, which you thought lost, turn up due to their kindness.

river rafting You decide to take that canoe or raft ride down the river but it's just been raining and the flow is just a little bit faster. As you take pictures of the riverbank and wildlife with your expensive camera suddenly the boat rocks and something slips out of your fingers. All your pictures are gone, not just the ones you took today but all the photographs over the whole of your holiday. Taking a waterproof digital camera instead will not remove the possibility of your camera slipping out of your fingers as you hit that white water but increase the chance of not loosing your pictures. Travel guides have seen this before, your not alone in falling overboard, and know the areas downstream where it is likely that a camera can be recovered. Don`t forget your cheap waterproof camera will float and be returned like it was normal part of the trip.

Whatever your holiday adventure maybe whether it may involve a bit of risk or possibility of getting wet then a disposable camera is idea, waterproof especially for near water or even that bit of snorkelling without going the expense of costly camera casings.
